The Republic of Nicaragua joined the Group of Friends of Neutrality established at the initiative of Turkmenistan

The Government of the Republic of Nicaragua has decided to join the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development, established under the auspices of the United Nations at the initiative of Turkmenistan.

With Nicaragua’s accession, the number of countries participating in the group has reached 30.

Nicaragua’s accession to the group once again demonstrates the growing interest of the international community in Turkmenistan’s initiatives to promote a culture of peace and the institution of neutrality.
