The U.S. ambassador is completing his diplomatic mission in our country

On 18 July, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Elizabeth Rood, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the results of their joint work and noted the steadily positive development of the Turkmen-American dialogue.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Rashid Meredov expressed his appreciation to Elizabeth Rood for her personal contribution to the development of multifaceted cooperation between Ashgabat and Washington and wished her success in her future professional career.

In turn, the head of the U.S. diplomatic mission expressed sincere gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the comprehensive support provided during her diplomatic service.
