He instructed that the compulsory state insurance system be improved

The President of Turkmenistan instructed that the compulsory state insurance system be improved.

In particular, the Law of Turkmenistan “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of Turkmenistan” was adopted in November 2025. In accordance with this Law, the State Insurance Organisation of Turkmenistan, together with the relevant ministries and sectoral agencies, developed draft regulations related to state insurance.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted for consideration by the Head of State.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that effective work is being carried out in the country to develop the insurance system and improve regulatory legal acts in this area. He instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to carry out the relevant work to improve the compulsory state insurance system.

This was announced during the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by the President of Turkmenistan via the digital system on 19 July.
