Flight services will be established between Baku and Ashgabat

The possibility of opening direct, twice-weekly flights between Ashgabat and Baku is being discussed. The issue was addressed at the Economic Cooperation Council meeting held in Ashgabat. The issue was discussed at the next meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Azerbaijani working group on economic cooperation, held in Ashgabat. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the fields of transport, tourism, trade and investment. Particular attention was also paid to developing the two countries' transport potential and strengthening transport links between Asia and Europe.
