Is Galatasaray Under Suspicion?

Galatasaray found itself at the center of controversy following its home match against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League league phase, which ended in a 1–4 defeat. The Turkish club was accused of artificially broadcasting crowd noise inside the stadium.

Organizers at RAMS Park reportedly forgot to switch off the sound system after the final whistle. As a result, the incident was noticed during the live broadcast, increasing suspicions that the crowd noise may have been artificially amplified.

The situation has also been linked to UEFA regulations.

Under Article 43.03 of UEFA’s stadium safety regulations, the use of sound amplification systems to put pressure on the opposing team or artificially support the home side is prohibited.
