The World’s Largest Pizza Was Made

The world’s largest pizza had an area of 1,296.72 square meters. It was not simply several times larger than an ordinary pizza, but a creation on an entirely different scale.

The record was set on January 19, 2023, in Los Angeles, USA. The pizza was made jointly by internet creator Airrack and “Pizza Hut.”

Around 6.2 tons of dough, more than 2.2 tons of sauce, nearly 4 tons of cheese, and approximately 630,000 pieces of pepperoni were used to make it.

The pizza was not placed into one giant oven all at once. It was prepared in sections on site, then joined together and baked.

The finished pizza was cut into around 68,000 slices, and the remaining portions were donated to charitable organizations.
