Turkmenistan Chess Cup with a 10,000 Manat Prize Fund to Be Held in Ashgabat

The Turkmenistan Chess Cup will be held from October 22 to November 1 at the Specialized Chess and Checkers School in the capital.

The competition will bring together the country’s strongest grandmasters as well as talented young chess players.

The tournament program includes three formats of chess — classical, rapid, and blitz.

The total prize fund is 10,000 manats and will be distributed as follows:

Group “A”:
1st place — 3,000 manats
2nd place — 2,000 manats
3rd place — 1,000 manats

Group “B”:
1st place — 500 manats
2nd place — 300 manats
3rd place — 200 manats
