Measures Are Being Demanded to Protect Children and Restrict Artificial Intelligence

A new round of legal action against OpenAI has begun in several U.S. states.

The attorneys general of Iowa, Idaho, Arizona, Arkansas, West Virginia, Kansas, Montana, and Nebraska have jointly filed a lawsuit against the developers of the ChatGPT artificial intelligence system.

Similar demands were also raised by the state of Florida during the summer of this year.

According to the prosecutors, the ChatGPT neural network does not provide sufficient protection for underage users from dangerous topics and content that could worsen their condition.

The lawsuit calls for a substantial financial penalty against OpenAI and also demands major changes to the company’s operating practices.
