Payments Are Now Being Demanded for iPhone 18 and Apple Watch Models as Well
Apple, which has been accused of infringing patent rights, is facing new and more substantial demands from Taction Technology.
After winning $5.7 billion in compensation through the courts, Taction is now seeking ongoing payments for every iPhone and Apple Watch sold in the future.
According to Taction, the previous court ruling covered only sales up to March 2026.
For this reason, the company is also demanding additional payments for devices sold over the past six months, as well as for future models such as the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, and Apple Watch Ultra 4.
In addition, Apple is being asked to report the number of devices sold in the United States every three months and to make the corresponding payments within 30 days after the end of each quarter.
Taction’s demands are expected to remain in force until the relevant patents expire, on September 24, 2035.
