The World’s Narrowest Hotel

The world’s narrowest hotel is located in Indonesia and is approximately 2.8 meters wide.

Ary Indra, the architect behind the PituRooms hotel, said the building was constructed in Salatiga, Central Java, on a plot of land that no one wanted to buy because of its unusual dimensions.

Indra said the rooms, designed by Indonesian artists and designers, have a distinctive layout. “I want people who come here to experience Salatiga in a new way,” he said.

The architect also said that he manages the hotel together with the team that created it and hopes to attract more tourists to Salatiga, which is located about 480 kilometers southeast of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
