Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Congratulates the President of Turkmenistan on Turkmenistan’s Independence Day

Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif sent a congratulatory message to the President of Turkmenistan on the occasion of Independence Day.

The message reads:

His Excellency
Mr. Serdar BERDIMUHAMEDOV
President of Turkmenistan

Your Excellency,

On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan, as well as on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of Turkmenistan’s Independence Day.

This glorious day stands as a testament to the remarkable achievements made by the Turkmen people in recent years and throughout this year under your visionary and wise leadership.

Relations between Pakistan and Turkmenistan are based on our shared religious, cultural, and historical ties.

I fondly recall my visit to your country in December 2025 to participate in the International Forum of Peace and Trust. During the visit, I had very productive discussions with Your Excellency on further strengthening cooperation between our countries, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, energy, and regional connectivity.

In this regard, I remain ready to work closely with you in the coming years for the benefit of our peoples.

Taking this opportunity, I wish Your Excellency strong health, well-being, and happiness, and the brotherly people of Turkmenistan peace, development, and prosperity.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
