Design and Specifications of the New “Wuling Starlight L” Crossover Revealed

Official images of the updated “Wuling Starlight L” family crossover, produced by the joint venture between China’s SAIC and America’s General Motors, have been released in the media.

The vehicle measures 4,980 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, placing it in the midsize crossover segment.

Standard equipment includes intelligent automatically controlled LED headlights, additional cornering lights, and a delayed light-off function that keeps the lights on for a short period after the vehicle is switched off. At the rear, a continuous light bar stretches across the full width of the tailgate.

The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor mounted on the front axle, and a continuously variable transmission.

The crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 190 km/h.

It can travel up to 260 km on electric power alone, while the combined gasoline-electric driving range reaches 1,260 km.

When the battery is depleted, fuel consumption is approximately 4.9 liters per 100 km.
