An Unusual Cat That Is Not Afraid of Water
The relationship between humans and nature has continued to develop for thousands of years. Selective breeding is the process of creating new breeds by choosing desirable and useful traits in animals and plants. Over the centuries, humans have used this approach to develop new varieties of animals.
In recent years, breeders have worked on creating unusual domestic cat breeds by crossing them with wild felines found in Africa.
In an effort to produce a beautiful and friendly domestic cat, specialists crossed the African wild serval with a domestic cat and developed the unusual breed known as the “Savannah.”
The Savannah cat was officially registered in 2001. It later became widely known as one of the most expensive cat breeds in the world.
These cats are known for their calm temperament and their ability to adapt quickly to different conditions. One of their most unusual traits is that, unlike many other cats, they are not afraid of water.
Experts also note that Savannah cats can be highly loyal to their owners.
