Young Singer in China Unexpectedly Becomes Popular

In China, a young singer unexpectedly stepped in for a famous performer, won the hearts of many audience members, and quickly gained major popularity on social media.

At a concert in Baotou, well-known artist Hacken Lee was unable to arrive on time because of unexpected travel problems. His plane landed elsewhere, and the taxi he took also stopped after losing power.

At that moment, local young performer Yan Xun, who had been sitting at a meal, immediately agreed to help and made his way to the stadium, first by taxi and then by bicycle.

With no preparation and wearing ordinary clothes, he took the stage and, instead of the planned 30-minute performance, sang continuously for around two hours.

Following the concert and the warm response from the audience, his social media following reportedly rose from 10,000 to 420,000 within just a few weeks.
