Young Striker Continues to Break Records
Erling Haaland broke two historic records previously held by Lionel Messi in the UEFA Champions League. The milestone came in the second round of the league phase against Paris Saint-Germain, where the Norwegian striker scored twice.
That evening, Haaland not only surpassed Messi’s records but also moved ahead of Sergio Agüero, who had scored 36 goals.
With 38 Champions League goals for Manchester City, Haaland became the club’s all-time leading scorer in the competition.
