Mercedes-Benz Crashes Two CLA Cars into Each Other

Mercedes-Benz has conducted an unusual safety test rarely seen in the automotive industry.

This time, two real moving cars were made to collide sideways at an intersection. Each vehicle weighed more than 2 tonnes, and they were traveling at 56 km/h at the time of the collision.

Company specialists identified this speed as representative of the most severe road accidents that occur at intersections.

The test results showed that the risk of serious injury to passengers was low, while the high-voltage batteries remained undamaged.
