Mercedes-Benz to Introduce New Driverless Models

Automaker Mercedes-Benz and technology giant Nvidia are taking their partnership to a new level through a new artificial intelligence-based project.

Their joint goal is to introduce modern vehicles equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving systems.

In the future, this technology could be widely used even in high-end luxury limousines.

The new system will be built around Mercedes-Benz’s own MB.OS operating system, together with Nvidia’s Hyperion computing platform, Alpamayo Stack software, and the Halos safety system.

This powerful technological combination will allow vehicles to drive autonomously in cities without human assistance, park automatically, and receive all updates remotely over wireless connections.
