BMW Updates the X3 M50 xDrive Crossover

BMW has unveiled an updated version of the X3 crossover. The company has improved the technical specifications of the most powerful M50 xDrive variant and decided not to launch a full-fledged new-generation X3 M modification.

The main update concerns an increase in power output. The 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, working as part of a hybrid system, now produces 443 horsepower.

That is 45 horsepower more than before and brings it in line with the performance figures of the M3 sedan. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.

As a result, it is 0.2 seconds quicker than the previous model and only slightly slower than the former X3 M Competition.

The engine has also been fully adapted to comply with strict “Euro 7” emissions standards.
