Turkmenistan Culture Day Held in South Korea

Turkmenistan Culture Day is being held in the city of Gwangju, Republic of Korea. The event was organized at the National Asian Culture Center as part of the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit and the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea.

The special programme featured 19 performances by Turkmen artists. The audience was presented with traditional music, folk songs, the art of playing the dutar, and national dances.

The event also featured the world premiere of a special video project dedicated to Turkmenistan’s cultural sites and historical places associated with UNESCO World Heritage sites.
