Cotton Harvest Begins in Turkmenistan

This year, cotton was planted on 580,000 hectares across Turkmenistan. The goal is to harvest the crop on time and present 1.4 million tonnes of white cotton as a gift for the country’s glorious 35th anniversary of independence.

Special fire-safety training was conducted at every collection point, and the units were provided with the necessary equipment. Cotton-transporting machinery was also fully inspected.
