104th Anniversary of Türkiye’s Victory Day Celebrated in Ashgabat

A ceremonial reception marking the 104th anniversary of the Victory Day of the Republic of Türkiye was held in Ashgabat. The event was opened by the military attaché of the Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan, who delivered a welcoming address to the assembled guests.

Türkiye’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, Şener Cebeci, then addressed the guests. Turkmenistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov, representing the Turkmen side, also spoke at the ceremony.

He discussed Turkmen-Turkish relations in detail, describing them as multifaceted and strategic.

The reception was attended by diplomats from embassies accredited in Turkmenistan and representatives of foreign missions. A dinner was arranged for the guests following the official part of the event.
