World Premiere of “Godzilla: Minus Zero” Held in New York

The world premiere of the Japanese film “Godzilla: Minus Zero” took place on September 26 at the 64th New York Film Festival.

The direct sequel to “Godzilla: Minus One” was directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who also helmed the previous film. The screening was held as part of the festival’s special gala program.

Yamazaki and members of the film’s cast attended the premiere.

The story is set in 1949, two years after the events of “Godzilla: Minus One.” The sequel follows the Shikishima family as they face a new catastrophe in postwar Japan.

The film has a runtime of 135 minutes, was shot in Japanese, and was presented with English subtitles for its festival screenings.
