Meeting Held with U.S. Embassy Representative at Turkmenistan’s Mejlis

A meeting was held between the Chairperson of Turkmenistan’s Mejlis and Kristine Hawkins, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the United States of America in Turkmenistan. The meeting discussed the current state and future directions of bilateral cooperation.

During the conversation, the Chairperson of the Mejlis noted the importance of a study visit organized for Mejlis representatives under the Open World program with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan. The visit made an important contribution to improving parliamentary work and national legislation, exchanging experience and developing friendly relations. It was also noted that support was expressed for continuing such projects in the future.
