Events Dedicated to Akhal-Teke Horses Begin in Kronenberg

A large-scale, multifaceted programme of events dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses will begin on September 4 in Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The Netherlands is considered one of the world’s leading countries in equestrian sport. Accordingly, the World Championship in equestrian sport and beauty competitions among Akhal-Teke horses will begin on September 4.

The championship programme will include beauty and dressage competitions for Akhal-Teke horses of different ages; the international scientific and practical conference, “The Akhal-Teke Horse: Turkmenistan’s Global Art of Horse Breeding”; show jumping competitions; a contest to select Europe’s best stallion; and competitions celebrating the beauty of horses through works of art. An open meeting of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, an exhibition dedicated to Turkmen equestrian art, culture, artistic creativity and the European equestrian industry, demonstration performances by the Galkynyş national equestrian games group, and a concert by masters of culture and art will also be held.
