Meeting Held with Turkmen Students in Korea

A meeting with Turkmen students studying at higher education institutions in Korea was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyyev informed the students about important social and political events taking place in Turkmenistan, as well as foreign policy initiatives put forward by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

Special attention was given to the international significance of the resolution titled “International Year of Law, 2028,” adopted by the UN General Assembly on July 24, 2026, at Turkmenistan’s initiative. It was noted that the adoption of this resolution demonstrates the importance of Turkmenistan’s consistent efforts to strengthen international law, develop multilateral cooperation and promote the principles of peace, trust and mutual understanding.
