Turkmen Youth Attend Climate Change Conference

Turkmen youth took part in the RCOY Central Asia 2026 regional youth conference in Samarkand, dedicated to climate change, water and sustainable development issues in Central Asia.

The event brought together around 100 young environmentalists and experts from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia and Türkiye.

A declaration by the region’s youth, to be presented to representatives of government agencies, the United Nations and partner organizations, was also introduced during the event.
