Turkmen Delegation Attends Conference in Ankara

A delegation from Turkmenistan attended the regional conference titled “Accelerating Progress in Midwifery in Eastern Europe and Central Asia,” held in Ankara.

The conference serves as a platform for advancing strategic dialogue, aligning national practices with international standards and sharing best practices in maternal and child health care.

The meeting aims to support the priority development of midwifery through the preparation of multi-year national action plans focused on fostering sustainable regional cooperation, ensuring safe motherhood and strengthening healthcare systems.
