Reception Held in Celebration of Uzbekistan’s Independence Day

A formal reception and cultural programme were held at Tashkent Park with the participation of representatives of diplomatic missions, government members and city residents.

The festive programme featured an exhibition of traditional clothing, carpets, decorated ceramic tableware and publications about modern Uzbekistan.

The celebration continued in an informal setting, with guests treated to traditional Uzbek pilaf and a vibrant concert programme featuring leading artists.
