A round table dedicated to the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty was held

A round table dedicated to the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

The event was attended by a delegation headed by President of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan Ubaid Ur Rehman Qureshi.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the significance of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, scheduled for September 23. It was noted that the upcoming meeting will be an important socio-political event aimed at summarizing achieved results and identifying future priorities for the country’s socio-economic development.

The parties also highlighted the importance of the international initiative of the President of Turkmenistan to declare 2028 as the International Year of International Law. It was emphasized that the relevant Resolution was adopted by the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Turkmenistan with 78 countries as co-sponsors.

The parties also expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation between youth and parliamentary structures of the two countries, expand experience exchange, and organize joint events aimed at strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
