Meeting of Turkmenistan’s State Security Council Held

On September 4, President of Turkmenistan and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, chaired a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The meeting reviewed the results of work carried out by the country’s military and law enforcement agencies over the first eight months of the year.

The agenda also included issues related to ensuring security and public order in the independent state, strengthening the material and technical base of military and law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities.

During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution “On the Appointment and Dismissal of Prosecutors.”
