Meeting held between the leaders of trade union associations of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan

A meeting between the leaders of the trade union associations of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana.

Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan Oguljennet Berdilieva met with Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletin.

During the talks, the parties discussed important areas of bilateral cooperation, including the protection of workers’ labor and socio-economic rights, development of social partnership, occupational safety, improvement of trade union education, and exchange of experience.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the trade union organizations of the two countries, expanding professional ties, and implementing joint initiatives.
