Armenian Prime Minister Invites President of Turkmenistan to COP17 Summit

During a telephone conversation with the President of Turkmenistan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan invited him to attend the Leaders’ Summit to be held in Yerevan in October of this year ahead of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 17).

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of Turkmenistan’s international initiatives aimed at ensuring global environmental well-being. The President of Turkmenistan thanked him for the invitation, noting that the event would be an important occasion in environmental protection, and confirmed Turkmenistan’s active participation.
