Heavy Downpour Hits a City in Thailand

On the night of September 24, a powerful tropical downpour struck Pattaya, one of Thailand’s popular tourist destinations.

According to The Pattaya News and Bangkok Post, water levels on some central streets reached at least 60 centimeters, and in certain areas rose as high as 1 meter.

Strong currents swept away motorcycles parked on the streets, while some passenger cars broke down on the roads. The severe weather also caused traffic congestion across the city.

Local residents and tourists were forced to take urgent measures to protect their property.
