Winners of NLPA 2026 Announced

The organizers of the Natural Landscape Photography Awards (NLPA), an annual competition dedicated to natural landscape photography, have announced this year’s winners.

Lukáš Furlan was named “Photographer of the Year,” while Abraham Sykli received the “Photograph of the Year” award.

The NLPA competition brings together photographers who aim to capture nature as closely as possible to how it appeared at the moment the image was taken. For this reason, the competition imposes strict limits on photo editing.

Adding new elements that were not present in the original frame, using composite techniques, or employing generative artificial intelligence is prohibited.

Even selectively brightening part of an image may result in disqualification if it creates the effect of artificial lighting.
