Turkmen-Korean Cooperation in Education Discussed
As part of the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, a meeting was held between Turkmenistan’s Minister of Education, J. Gurbangeldiyev, and Kim Kyo Shig, Executive Director of the Republic of Korea’s Global Innovation Education Organization.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to develop cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea in the fields of education, science and innovation.
It was proposed to study Korean experience in vocational and technical education and to establish cooperation aimed at improving teachers’ professional qualifications.
The meeting also covered promising areas of cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
In addition, the participants proposed holding expert meetings and round-table discussions to study the future needs of the labor market, identify new professions and develop the skills young people need to work in high-tech industries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation in education, science and innovation, expand the exchange of experience and implement joint projects.
