Turkmen-Japanese Cooperation Discussed

A meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Japan’s State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Kenji Yamada.

The parties discussed the current state of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation and promising areas for its development, primarily in trade and economic relations. They also exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in energy, industry, transport, the chemical sector and other areas of mutual interest.

They highlighted the important role of the joint Turkmenistan-Japan economic cooperation committees as an effective mechanism for promoting bilateral trade and economic relations.
