Total Value of Transactions at Turkmenistan’s State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange Exceeds US$38.56 Million

A total of 22 transactions were registered at trading sessions of Turkmenistan’s State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange last week. Representatives of business circles from Singapore and Türkiye purchased Portland cement and fuel oil produced by an enterprise of the Türkmennebit State Concern using foreign currency.

In addition, cotton fabric, cotton yarn, and dried licorice roots and stems were sold for foreign currency to entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. The total value of the transactions exceeded US$38.56 million.

For the domestic market, Turkmen businesspeople purchased petroleum bitumen produced by an enterprise of the Türkmennebit State Concern, raw silk, cotton fabric, cotton yarn, cotton fibre and cotton waste, with a total value exceeding 140.311 million manats.
