National Leader of the Turkmen People Hero-Arkadag Meets Head of Tatarstan

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, who arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s state independence. He also conveyed warm greetings and congratulations from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

During the meeting, the sides noted the consistent and effective development of bilateral relations. It was also emphasized that high-level meetings and negotiations make it possible to identify promising areas of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged best wishes and wished the fraternal peoples of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan well-being, prosperity, and continued success.
