Honda Preparing a New Giant Crossover

Honda is preparing to launch a new three-row crossover that will be even larger than the «Pilot» model.

According to Automotive News, production of the new model is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2032. Preliminary reports suggest that the vehicle may be called the «Pilot XXL».

Its length is expected to be approximately 5.29 meters, which is 203 millimeters longer than the current «Pilot». This would make the new crossover larger than several of its key competitors.

For comparison, the «Toyota Grand Highlander» measures 5.12 meters in length, the «Hyundai Palisade» and «Kia Telluride» 5.06 meters, the «Jeep Grand Cherokee L» 5.20 meters, the «Chevrolet Traverse» 5.19 meters, the «GMC Acadia» 5.18 meters, and the «Ford Explorer» 5.05 meters.
