Hero-Arkadag Congratulates President of Turkmenistan on Knowledge and Student Youth Day

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, extended heartfelt congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan on Knowledge and Student Youth Day on behalf of the Turkmen people and the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

Hero-Arkadag’s message states: “As you note in your book ‘Youth Is the Support of the Motherland,’ the foundation of our country’s development is connected with science and education. Knowledge is the most valuable treasure of all humanity and all ages. Therefore, throughout its glorious history, the Turkmen people have shown particular respect for science and education and made a worthy contribution to universal human values.

Following the accumulated experience of our ancestors, who created such wise sayings as ‘Knowledge and wisdom are more precious than gold,’ ‘A nation that studies advances...’ and ‘One talent surpasses another,’ and drawing on the world’s leading achievements, programs aimed at reforming the national education system are being successfully implemented in this new historical era. The interconnected work in this area further strengthens the foundations of the education system and positively contributes to raising morally upright and genuinely patriotic generations.”

As part of reforms aimed at bringing the national education system to the level of the world’s developed countries, secondary schools, higher education institutions, kindergartens and recreation and health centers equipped with modern facilities are being built in Ashgabat, Arkadag and the country’s regions. Innovative teaching methods are being actively introduced, curricula are being regularly modernized and digital technologies continue to be integrated into the education system.

Schoolchildren, students and young athletes from the country achieve major successes at prestigious international competitions, Olympiads and sporting events, proudly raising the green flag of the Motherland. These encouraging achievements clearly demonstrate that a solid foundation has been created for young people to receive an education, learn a profession and engage in sports and creative activities.

Esteemed President! The successfully implemented ‘Concept for Transition to Twelve-Year General Secondary Education in Turkmenistan,’ the ‘Concept for Improving Teaching Methods under General Education Programs in Turkmenistan through 2028,’ the ‘Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052’ and other important programs demonstrate the country’s thoughtful and scientific approach to modernizing its education system.

At the end of his message, Hero-Arkadag once again warmly congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on Knowledge and Student Youth Day and wished him good health, longevity and continued success in his noble work to strengthen the educational foundations of the independent and permanently neutral state.
