Davut Nazmyradow Achieves Success at Asian Games in Japan

Turkmen karate athlete Davut Nazmyradow won a silver medal in the up to 75 kg weight category at the XX Summer Asian Games held in Nagoya, Japan. This became the first medal for the Turkmenistan national team at the current Games.

In the decisive bout for the gold medal, Nazmyradow faced Iranian athlete Mortaza Nemati and lost with a score of 3–4, earning the silver medal of the competition.
