Opportunity to Study in Switzerland with a Government Scholarship

Young people from Turkmenistan have an opportunity to conduct research or pursue doctoral studies at Swiss universities and research institutions. The Swiss government has announced that applications are open for government scholarships for the 2027–2028 academic year.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree or an equivalent qualification, have been born after December 31, 1991, and arrange their research plan in advance. An official letter of support from an academic supervisor in Switzerland is also required.

Research placements last between 6 and 12 months, while doctoral scholarships are awarded for one year. The scholarship covers a monthly living allowance, health insurance and partial reimbursement of accommodation and travel expenses.
