Theater Season to Open in Turkmenistan

The country’s leading theater companies will open their new creative season on August 29. The upcoming theater calendar is expected to feature a wide range of major events.

On the opening day, the Main Academic Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi will stage “The Tree of Life,” the Alp Arslan National Drama Theater will present “The Love Stop,” the A. S. Pushkin State Russian Drama Theater will stage “Thumbelina,” and the Turkmen State Puppet Theater will present “Destiny from the Sky.”
