More Than 18,000 Young People Admitted to Universities in Turkmenistan
In accordance with the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, entrance examinations at the country’s higher education institutions were conducted in an organized and fair manner. At the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, entrance examinations were held in the state language in a test-based format.
The newly admitted students include winners of academic competitions and sporting events held among school students and students of secondary vocational institutions. Young people with work experience in various sectors of the national economy, as well as those under state care, were also admitted.
This year, 10 specializations were introduced under specialist degree programs, along with four bachelor’s programs and six master’s programs. The first groups of students and master’s candidates were admitted to these programs.
In total, more than 18,000 young people were admitted to higher education institutions in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Türkmenistan newspaper.
