United States to Increase Annual Space Launches to 1,000
U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a memorandum aimed at increasing the number of space launches and landings to more than 1,000 annually by 2030. Currently, the American space industry conducts an average of more than 200 launches each year.
The document seeks to accelerate the development of space transportation infrastructure and expand cooperation between the government and private companies.
The administration also intends to reduce bureaucratic obstacles and expedite permits for launches and the construction of necessary infrastructure.
