A meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Ahmet Demirok, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.

The sides reaffirmed the commitment of the two brotherly peoples to further developing bilateral relations in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres. During the meeting, the diplomats also discussed issues related to trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye.

The parties noted with satisfaction the development of trade relations and expressed interest in increasing bilateral trade turnover. The head of the foreign ministry thanked the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations and wished him great success in his future professional career.
