A conference dedicated to the significance of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the UN Resolution “2028 — International Year of International Law” was held in Baku

A conference dedicated to the significance of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the UN General Assembly Resolution “2028 — International Year of International Law”, adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan, was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event was attended by professors and scholars of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Turkmen students studying in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the mass media and the Turkmen diaspora.

During the conference, it was noted that the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan is the highest representative body of people’s power and that its activities are aimed at improving the system of public administration, developing democratic institutions, strengthening socio-political stability, and contributing to the country’s sustainable socio-economic development.
