The Turkmen delegation took part in the 5th International Youth Environmental Congress held in Kashkadarya

The 5th International Environmental Congress entitled “Youth — Architects of the Future” was held in Shahrisabz District of Kashkadarya Region. The 5th International Environmental Congress entitled “Youth — Architects of the Future” was held in Shahrisabz District of Kashkadarya Region.

The large-scale forum brought together around 1,000 young environmental activists from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Russia and Belarus. The main purpose of the event was to involve young people in environmental protection and unite their efforts in finding solutions to environmental challenges.

The congress program included a wide range of substantive and practical activities. Young environmentalists took part in specialized projects, environmental clean-up campaigns, presentations and meetings with experts. In addition, international competitions entitled “Best Environmental Project,” “Eco-Zakovat” and KVN were held as part of the forum.

The congress became an effective platform for exchanging experience and implementing promising initiatives in the field of environmental protection.
