Turkish Airlines has increased fees for transporting oversized baggage

Turkish Airlines has updated its fees for transporting baggage that exceeds standard dimensions.

Under the new rules, transporting a suitcase that exceeds the permitted dimensions will cost US$110 on flights to Istanbul and US$150 on international transit flights.

A suitcase is considered standard-sized if the combined total of its height, length and width does not exceed 158 centimetres. The dimensions of the wheels are not included in this calculation.

Passengers carrying baggage that exceeds the permitted dimensions will be charged an additional fee under the new tariffs.
