A meeting titled «Halk Maslahaty — a national model of democracy» was held.

The Mary regional committee of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, together with the Main Education Department of Mary Velayat, organized a meeting titled «Halk Maslahaty — a national model of democracy».

During the event, meaningful speeches were delivered to explain the importance of ongoing reforms in detail and to communicate their significance to the general public.

The Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan is the highest representative body of people’s power, aimed at addressing the most important issues of state and public life, strengthening national unity, ensuring the stability of the state, and promoting national democracy.

Halk Maslahaty represents a modern form of the national democratic traditions that have been tested and preserved throughout centuries.
